Melett has announced that UK Sales Director, David Wilkin, will be retiring at the end of the year. Martyn Howorth, General Manager, Melett Latin America, will be relocating to the UK towards the end of the year, and taking on the role as group Sales Director at Melett Head Office.

Martyn has been managing the Latin American sales office in Santiago, Chile since its opening in June 2013, and has a long background in the turbo industry having previously held senior positions in the aftermarket at Cummins Turbo Technologies.

To continue Melett’s business operations throughout Latin America, Rafael Morett will take on the role of Sales Manager – Latin America. ‘We are pleased to welcome Rafael to the Melett team,’ says Ian Warhurst Managing Director and Owner of Melett. ‘Rafael has over 30 years’ experience working in the diesel industry, including 9 years as Sales Manager for Latin America at Borg Warner Turbochargers. Rafael has also worked in turbocharger distribution and is therefore ideally placed to help our customers to grow their business with Melett.’ As a result of Rafael’s appointment, Melett’s Latin America sales office will relocate to Celaya, Mexico in September 2014.

These changes follow a busy year for Melett, after the recent opening of the Melett Manufacturing Facility in July 2014, and the expansion of Melett’s UK CHRA Production Facility earlier in the year.
